서울환경운동연합(이하 서울환경연합)이 2016년 서울지하역사 278곳의 공기질 자료를 분석한 결과 대책마련이 시급한 것으로 나타났습니다.

요약하면, 2016년 서울지하역사 278곳의 미세먼지(PM-10) 평균농도는 81.2㎍/㎥로 국내기준치(150㎍/㎥)와 서울기준치(140㎍/㎥) 이하로 나타났지만 환경부가 수립한 ‘제2차 지하역사공기질 개선 5개년 대책(2013-2017)’의 2017년 달성목표인 70㎍/㎥에는 크게 못 미치는 것으로 나타났습니다. 또한, 세계보건기구 하루기준치(50㎍/㎥)를 적용할 경우 심각한 수준인 것으로 나타났습니다.

서울의 경우 2016년 기준으로 환경부의 2017년 미세먼지(PM-10) 달성목표 70㎍/㎥이하인 지하역사는 총60곳으로 21%에 불과했습니다.

현재 미세먼지 국민행동요령으로 일반인인 경우 장시간 또는 무리한 실외활동을 자제하고 민감군인 경우 심장질환 혹은 폐질환이 있는 사람, 노인, 어린이는 장시간 또는 무리한 활동을 제한하는 미세먼지(PM-10) ‘나쁨’수준(81-150㎍/㎥)에 해당하는 역사는 142곳으로 51%에 달했습니다.

호선별 평균농도는 1호선 95.6㎍/㎥, 2호선 86.6㎍/㎥, 3호선 88.4㎍/㎥, 4호선 90.9㎍/㎥, 5호선 75.7㎍/㎥, 6호선 87.12㎍/㎥, 7호선 75.2㎍/㎥, 8호선 72.9㎍/㎥, 9호선 68.9㎍/㎥로 나타났습니다.
