(보도자료)대전에 156종의 조류와 27종의 법적보호종 서식확인 시민모니터링의 힘 확인

4월 22일은 51회 ‘지구의 날’이다. 지구의 날을 기념하여 대전환경운동연합은 지난 10여년간(2010년~2020년) 지역의 많은 지역과 현장을 확인하며 모니터링과 조사를 종합해 발표했다.

대전환경운동연합이 진행했던 월평공원 생태조사와 3대 하천 겨울철새 조사 대전시 자연환경조사 결과를 종합하였고, 상시적으로 모니터링하며 관찰한 조류를 추가로 포함했다.

정리된 조류의 총 종수는 156종이다. 대전시자연환경조사가 92종에 비해 64종이 추가되었다. 이중 법적보호종은 27종에 이른다. 자연환경조사 결과가 10종에 비해 17종이 추가되었다. 자발적인 시민들의 모니터링 한 결과가 공식적인 대전시의 조사결과에 비해 많은 종수가 서식하는 것으로 조사된 것이다. 실제 서식하는 조류의 종수는 더 많을 것으로 추정된다.

5년 또는 10년에 한 번씩 조사하는 자연환경조사의 한계를 보여주는 대목이다. 전문가들이 조사하지만 상시적인 조사가 되지 않기 때문에 대전시에 서식하는 자연환경의 생물들을 정확히 파악하기 어려운 한계가 존재한다. 자연환경조사의 기간을 줄이거나 매년 시민모니터링단 등을 운영하여 조사결과를 종합해 나갈 필요가 있어 보인다.

자연환경조사에서 확인되지 않은 17종의 보호종은 큰고니, 큰기러기, 가창오리, 붉은가슴흰죽지, 호시비오리, 참수리, 참매, 조롱이, 매, 쇠황조롱이, 비둘기조롱이, 칡부엉이, 쇠부엉이, 올빼미, 솔부엉이, 팔색조, 삼광조(긴꼬리딱새)이다.

모니터링과정에서 주요 조류의 서식지점은 3대 하천과 둘레산을 중심으로 한 녹지를 중심으로 분포하고 있다. 특히, 3대 하천은 겨울철새들의 월동지로 역할을 하고 있었다. 녹지거점으로는 둘레산을 중심으로 분포하며, 식장산, 도덕봉, 월평공원이 중요한 관찰지점이다. 중요 조류의 서식처가 확인된 것으로도 매우 중요한 생태거점이 되는 것이 입증된 것이다.

대전시가 3대 하천과 둘레산과 주요거점인 식장산, 도덕봉, 월평공원을 중심으로 녹지의 보전을 통해 조류의 서식지를 유지해야 확대할 필요가 있어 보인다. 향후에 전문적이고 세밀한 조사와 더불어 시민모니터링의 협업을 통해 대전의 중요한 조류서식처 등을 확인하고 보전해야 한다.

51회 ‘지구의 날’을 기념하여 종합한 조류서식처 결과를 토대로 대전의 생물 보전을 정책들이 마련되어야 한다. 대전시가 깃대종등을 지정하여 보호하듯, 조류의 서식처 보전에도 앞장서는 출발이 되는 계기가 되기를 기대한다.

반디 논 습지 모니터링 자료 공유-11월 1차 활동

반디논 습지 모니터링을 하는 인천환경운동연합 소모임 녹색바람은

11월 6일(일) 인천환경운동연합 교육실에 모여

그동안 모니터링 했던 자료 공유와 조별 발표시간을 가져보았고,

일년동안 반디논 습지 모니터링 하면서 기억에 남았던 날을 생각하며

모니터링 한 내용들을 글속에 담아보기도 하였습니다.

우리가 2016년 활동했던 사진과 교육 받았던 내용을 다시 한번 생각해 보게 하는

교육 ppt

논습지 포스터를 보며 각 모듬별로 월별 모니터링한 자료들을 찾아보고,

없는 것들을 적어보는 시간.

조별 모두들 열심히 찾아보고, 다시 한번 생각해보고

우리가 반디 논 습지 모니터링 하면서 봤던 생물들을 기억해보고….

모두들 반디 논 습지 모니터링 하면서 보았던 생물들을 기억하였고,

반디 논 주변 조류, 논둑식물, 곤충, 파충류 등을 생각하고

논습지 포스터에 기록해 주었어요.

11월에는 교육이 2차례 있습니다.

11월 27일(일) 오후 4시 영화공간 주안 7층 3호관에서 우리나라 최초로

국제환경보호단체 그린피스 항해사가 된 ‘김연식’씨가

‘상상으로 그리는 지구환경과 꿈이야기’을 들려주고

녹색바람 친구들이 궁금해 하는 것들에 대한 답과

망망한 대해를 누비며 지구환경운동을 하는 현실이 된

꿈 이야기를 들여줄 것입니다.

4海 4色 ‘섬으로 찾아가는 해양환경교육’-부평공부방

인천환경운동연합은 4海 4色 ‘섬으로 찾아가는 해양환경교육’ 교육을 부평공부방에서 진행하였습니다.
부평공부방은 4개지역(인천. 부산. 마산,창원. 제주)에서 모여 함께 한 ‘해양캠프’ 에 인천지역팀으로
참석하여서 활동을 하였기에 ‘초록에너지 교실’과 ‘숲 체험교육’을 하였습니다.
부평공부방 교육시간 사정으로 2차례 나누어서 진행되었고, 11월 11일(금)과 11월 18일(금)에
부평공부방과 부평 신트리공원에서 교육프로그램을 진행하였습니다.

11월 18일은(금)에는 부평구청 옆 신트리공원에서 부평공부방 학생들과 함께 ‘숲 체험교육’
프로그램을 진행하였습니다.

나무안아보기, 나뭇잎으로 액자만들기, 나무공으로 하는 피구놀이 등 다양한 숲 체험프로그램을 진행하여
부평공부방 아이들이 숲에서 마음껏 뛰어 놀면서 배우는 생태 교육이었습니다.

촛불의 힘을 믿습니다.

미세먼지보다 독한 박근혜는 퇴진하라!

서울환경운동연합(이하 서울환경연합)은 지난 26일(토) 광화문 광장에서 국정을 농단하고 민주주의의 정신을 훼손한 박근혜 대통령의 퇴진을 요구하는 촛불집회에 시민들과 함께 하였습니다.

현재 박근혜 대통령의 국정농단이 하나 둘 밝혀지고 있는 가운데 지난 10월 29일 1차 촛불집회를 시작으로 국민들의 참았던 분노가 여러갈래로 표출되고 있습니다. 실례로 계속해서 늘어나고 있는 시민들의 자발적인 참여가 이를 입증하고 있습니다.

서울환경연합은 이러한 국민들의 열망과 함께하고, 응원하기 위해 ‘미세먼지 마스크’와 피켓을 들고 촛불집회에 참여하였습니다.

겨울철이 되자 미세먼지가 급증하고 있고 국민건강에 커다란 위협이 되고 있지만 촛불집회에 참여하는 국민들의 건강보호에 대한 대책은 없습니다. 때문에 서울환경연합은 정부의 고농도 미세먼지 대책마련 촉구를 위해 서명과 ‘미세먼지 마스크’를 나눠주는 촛불집회 사전행사를 준비했습니다.

이번 행사는 촛불집회 사전행사로 오전 12시부터 13시까지 서울시청 광장 앞에서 진행되었고, 눈이 내리는 속에서도 많은 시민들의 관심과 호응을 받았습니다.

이후 조금더 시민들과 함께 하고자 광화문광장으로 자리를 옮겨 ‘미세먼지보다 독한 박근혜는 퇴진하라’라는 피켓으로 1인 시위를 하였습니다. 광화문광장에서도 시청광장과 마찬가지로 시민들의 열렬한 응원을 들을 수 있었습니다. 지나가던 시민 한분은 핫팩과 손장갑을 주고 가셨고 서울환경연합 ‘멋지다’라고 격려해 주셨습니다. 날씨는 쌀쌀했지만 시민들과 함께하니 추위를 잊을 수 있어 감사했습니다.

이제 본격적으로 시작되는 5차 촛불집회.

서울환경연합은 깃발을 들고 시민들과 함께 행진에 동참했습니다.

서울환경연합은 국민의 목소리를 듣겠습니다. 촛불의 힘을 믿습니다.

[김장나눔] 2016년 착한 냠냠_김장나눔 행사

2016년 건강한 친환경 먹거리 나눔을 통한 취약계층 영양개선 사업의 일환으로 진행 된 착한 냠냠의 마지막 프로그램으로 김장 체험 및 나눔 행사가 12월 3일(토) 서울환경연합 회화나무마당에서 진행이 됩니다.

아이들이 직접 김장 체험을 통해 만들어진 김치는 서촌지역 어려운 이웃들에게 전달이 되는 뜻 깊은 자리오니 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

미세먼지 주요 배출원인 석탄화력발전소 대책 없고

자동차 운행 등 교통수요관리대책 미흡, 추가대책 필요하다

○ 오늘 환경부가 발표한 고농도 미세먼지 발생시 비상조치 대책은 실효성이 떨어져 보완을 통한 추가대책이 필요하다.

○ 이 대책으로는 고농도시 미세먼지를 대폭적으로 줄일 수 없어 시민건강을 지킬 수 없다.
