(‘도시교통공공성포럼’은 광주환경운동연합, 광주에코바이크, 광주광역시 지속가능발전협의회, 광주교통방송이 함께 하여, 도시교통공공성, 안전 등의 의제를 논의하고 대안을 모색하고자 작년에 구성한 모임입니다.  토론회도 4차례 개최하였습니다. )

이날 간담회에서 어린이 교통안전, 보행권 중심으로 한 교통 약자, 취약층에 대한 민선7기 방향을 의제로 논의하였습니다. 광주광역시 교통정책과 사무관 및 주무관  등 행정실무자, 최동호 광주대학교 교수, 이상준 동신대학교 교수 그리고 광주환경연합, 광주에코바이크, 광주지속협, 푸른길 단체에서 자리했습니다.  장연주 시의원도 간담회에 도움을 주었습니다. 어린이 교통안전 부분의 현장 상황을 마을만들기 활동 담당자가 참여하여 전달하기도 했습니다.

‘도시교통공공성포럼’ 참여단체들은 아래와 같이 의견을 제시하였습니다. 이후 계획은 보행권 조례를 제정을 논의하기로 하였습니다.
