인천 남동유수지에
올해 첫 저어새 도착했어요!

지난 3월 9일(금) 오전에 인천 남동유수지에 올해 첫 저어새 다섯 마리가 도착했다.
2009년 남동유수지 저어새 섬을 찾아온지 벌써 8년째가 흘렀는데 매년 이맘때 계속 찾아오고 있다. 하지만 한편으로는 어김없이 찾아오는 저어새가 반가우면서도 안타깝다. 저어새들의 먹이터로서 마지막 남은 송도 갯벌인 11공구의 매립공사가 계속 진행되어 갯벌이 사라지고 있기 때문이다.
4월 1일(토) 오전 9시 30분에 첫 활동으로 저어새 환영잔치 행사를 한다.
관심 있는 사람들의 많은 참여를 바란다.

지난 4월 7일 크로커다일과 피에르가르뎅으로 유명한 의류 기업인 던필드알파 그룹 임직원과 신청을 통해 참여한 고객 150여명이 수수꽃다리 약 300그루와 갯버들 약 500그루 총 800그루를 망원 한강공원에 식재를 하여 한강 숲 조성사업에 참여를 하였습니다.

이 행사에는 크로커다일의 모델이자 유명 영화배우인 이정재님도 함께 나무를 심으면서 미세먼지로 가득한 서울 하늘이 오늘 심은 나무를 통해 조금이나마 깨끗해지길 기원하시기도 하였습니다.

던필드 알파 그룹은 올해를 친환경 캠페인의 원년으로 선포하고 한강 숲 조성도 단순히 1회성 행사가 아닌 지속적으로 나무를 심어 한강에 숲이 가득하도록 열심히 참여하겠다는 포부를 밝히기도 하였습니다.

이날 심은 나무들이 무럭무럭 자라서 한강의 재자연화 및 생태복원과 함께 서울의 미세먼지와 온난화 문제를 해결하는 중심이 되길 기원합니다.
