2016년 환경운동연합 전국회원대회가 7월 16~17일 양일간 여주에서 열렸습니다. ‘같이 숨쉬는 지구, 함께 안전한 세상’이라는 주제로 광주, 울산, 대구, 서울 등 전국 각지에서 모인 230명의 회원분들과 만나 인사도 나누고 가습기 살균제 관련 활동을 하였습니다.

인천환경연합에서는 비교적 가까운 여주로 차를 나눠타고 출발했지만, 비가 내렸다 그쳤다 하는 날씨에 조금 늦은 시간에 도착해 체육대회부터 참석하게 되었습니다.

여주로 가는 길~비는 내리지만 마음만은 기대로 상쾌합니다^^

도착하니 거짓말처럼 비가 개고~환영의 플랜카드가 반겨줍니다.

짐을 풀고 내려와 준비 운동을 하며 몸도 풀어줍니다~

6월 26일 반디 논 습지.

지난달 녹색바람 친구들이 직접 모내기한 반디논에서 어떤 수서곤충과 식물들이 자라고 있는지 살피고자 나섰습니다.
장화를 챙겨 신어도 쑤욱쑥 빠지는 발을 챙겨가며 뜰채로 흙과 물을 담아서 그 안에 살고 있는 생명들을 건져보았습니다.
올챙이, 장구벌레, 물달팽이, 우렁이, 물자라 등 작은 공간에 다양한 수서곤충이 사는 것을 확인할 수 있었습니다. 늑대거미 수컷이 하얀 알집을 달고 다니는 따뜻한 부정이 느껴지는 모습도 발견하고, 논에 놀러온 중대백로와 청둥오리를 만나기도 했습니다.

다음 달 모임에서는 이곳에서 유충기를 겪고 자란 곤충들이 어떠할지 관찰할 예정입니다.

인천청소년 수련관에 모여 인천대공원 무궁화 조성사업 관련 NGO단체 활동가로

무궁화 조성동산 앞에서 사진을 찍고 , 물도 주고 ^^

반디논 습지로 이동해 인천환경운동연합 사무실에서 길러온 흰뺨검둥오리를 방사하였습니다.

약 50여일 동안 사무실에서 동고동락한 식구들이 함께 하였습니다.

흰뺨검둥오리 오월이는 뒤도 안 돌아보고 우유히 논사이로 갔습니다.

물에 잘 적응할수 있을까? 뭍으로 나올수 있을까? 하는 걱정아닌 걱정을 하였습니다.

녹색바람 교육을 마치고 돌아가는 길에 본 오월이는 아주 잘 적응하고 있었습니다.

무사히 잘 자라주기를 바라며…

청소년 동아리 녹색바람 학생들은 장마가 져서 논에 물이 가득 찬 것을 보았고,

농사를 짓기위해 물을 논에 두어야 하는 기간에는 논과 논 사이 논둑을 막고,

물이 많이 차면 물을 조금 빼주고,

물이 필요치 않을 때는 논둑을 터서 물을 빼야 한다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.

장마가 잠시 소강상태여서 그런지 푹푹 찌는 날씨여서

땀이 저절로 흐르는 날입니다.

젠가 게임을 해서 진 사람이 반딧불이 흉내를 내기로 하여

녹색바람 담당선생님과 합의(?)를 본 후

오늘은 조금 일찍 수업을 마쳤습니다.
