○ 모니터링 결과 이산화질소(NO2) 농도가 높게 나온 곳은 충대병원오거리, 청주시외버스터미널사거리, 우암사거리, 봉명사거리, 서청주교사거리 등 차량 통행이 많은 도로가 높게 나왔다.

○ 휘발성유기화합물(VOCs)의 경우 벤젠(Benzene)은 LG화학사원아파트 놀이터, LS산전 정문, 직지대로 GD옆 보호수 아래 가로등, 톨루엔(Toluene)은 충북도청 서문, 충북문화재연구원 정문, 직지대로 GD옆 보호수 아래 가로등 등 산업단지 인근이 높게 나왔다.

○ 이번 모니터링 결과 이산화질소(NO2)는 모든 지점에서 24시간 평균 기준치(60ppb) 이하로 나왔지만, 연평균 기준치(30ppb)를 초과하는 곳은 충대병원오거리(36.0ppb), 청주시외버스터미널사거리(34.6ppb), 우암사거리(34.6ppb) 등 7개 지점이다.

○ 청주시내 55개 지점(이산화질소(NO2)-40개, 휘발성유기화합물(VOCs)-15개)에 대해 3월 26일부터 24시간(이산화질소) 또는 72시간(휘발성유기화합물) 동안 진행된 모니터링으로, 모니터링 결과 분석은 대전대학교 환경공학과 환경모니터링 연구실(김선태 교수)에서 하였다.

○ 청주시 대기질 2차 시민모니터링은 5월 15일(화) 2시에 청주충북환경연합에서 진행할 예정이다.
