해양쓰레기 모니터링 하는 앞날 강한 바람과 폭우에 방산대교 아래 소래갯벌에 있던 쓰레기들이

바람에 날려간듯 합니다.

시흥환경운동연합은 해양쓰레기 모니터링 활동을 꾸준히 해왔던지라

 김문진 사무국장이 함께 나와서 쓰레기 수거 및 분류조사표 작성에 대한것을

교육해 주었습니다.

호미, 괭이, 쇠스랑 등 농사의 발달과 도구의 발달이 함께  시간이 지나면서 이루어졌다는 것도 배우며, 호미의 종류가 용도에 따라  여러가지라는 것이 놀라웠습니다.

마을을 돌며 농사에 사용되는 다양한 도구들의 쓰임새와 모양을 보고 배우며, 농사도구 빙고게임으로 마무리. 이후 점심에는 요리에 사용되는 도구를 직접 다루었습니다. 양파를 비롯한 요리재료를 썰고 다듬으면서 직접 어린이들이 계획한 요리를 하고 함께 먹는 즐거움은 함께 하지 않으면 경험할 수 없죠.

오후에는 밧줄 놀이터에서 신나는 밧줄놀이와 버려지는 옷으로 직접 밧줄을 만들어보고, 밧줄을 이용해 놀이도구로 만들기도 했습니다.

산들 산들 부는 바람과 초록이 만들어낸 마을의 풍경속에서 어린이들이 참 잘 어울렸어요.

가좌천에 유입되는 부분(6군데)에 차집관을 묻어 관리계획에 들어간다는 얘기를 해 주었습니다.

만월터널옆 도롱뇽이 서식하고 있는 만수천의 상류부에

유해식물(돼지풀, 단풍잎돼지풀, 환삼덩굴)을 제거하며,

정화활동도 하여 마대로 2포대 정도 쓰레기를 수거하였습니다.

만수천의 지류 마을부터 정화활동을 시작하기 합니다.

만수천 상류부로 올라가는 길에 쓰레기들이 여기저기 산재해 있습니다.

만수천 상류 주변 유해식물인 돼지풀, 단풍잎돼지풀, 환삼덩굴등을 제거하기도 하였습니다.

정화활동을 마친후….

오늘 정화활동에는 5명이 참석하여 주었고, 수거한 쓰레기양은 2포대 정도이며

유해식물 제거한 것은 산에 두어 말려서 다른 나무들이 양분으로 사용하기로

하였습니다.

반디논 습지 모니터링도 하고 모내기 후 뒷정리도 하려고 하였습니다.

9시 50분에 모여 반디논에 들어가보니,

모판들도 정리가 되어 있었고, 못줄도 정리가 되어 있었습니다.

그리고, 어제 모를 심으면서 반디논이 밟혀, 논 상태가 스스로 정리가 안 되어서

모니터링을 취소하고, 어제 심은 모를 한번 둘러보고, 볍씨소독부터 모심기까지 과정을

함께 얘기하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

시원한 바람이 불어오고, 옆산에서는 뻐꾸기가 울음울고, 사람소리에 날아가며 ‘꿩꿩’거리는

꿩의 움직음을 느끼면서 청소년 소모임 학생들과 시를 짓는 시간을 가지기로 하였습니다.

처음에는 머뭇머뭇 거리는 것 같더니 휴대폰으로 적어 강사에게 톡으로 보내라고 하였더니

나머지 학생들은 직접 적어서 주었습니다.

학교에 가면 ‘공부’굴레속에 있던 아이들이

반디논 쌀을 받아든 사람들은 농사짓는 수고로움을 알기에 감사함으로 받는 쌀입니다.

1번 논은 토종볍씨를 심는 곳이고 2번논부터 7번논까지는 인천환경운동연합 청소년 소모임

녹색바람 학생들이 볍씨소독부터 모판만들기, 볍씨파종까지 한 모를 심었습니다.

인천환경운동연합은 대안열음학교 학생들과 함께 2번 논을 배정받아

열심히 심었습니다.

모를 심으면서 우리가 주식으로 먹는 쌀의 소중함을 다시금 느끼는 시간이었습니다.

허리도 아프고, 내리쬐는 햇빛도 따갑고…..

모를 심고나서 장수천네트워크에서 주는 맛있는 떡을 나눠 먹으니

맛이  꿀떡 ^^ 그대로였습니다.

자원봉사로 이루어진 약 300여명의 여러 단체들의 참여를 보면서

전통적인 방식으로 치뤄지는 이 모내기가 인천대공원이 있는 한

꾸준히 이어지기를 바랬습니다.
