무궁화 조성동산 앞에서 사진을 찍고 , 물도 주고 ^^

반디논 습지로 이동해 인천환경운동연합 사무실에서 길러온 흰뺨검둥오리를 방사하였습니다.

약 50여일 동안 사무실에서 동고동락한 식구들이 함께 하였습니다.

흰뺨검둥오리 ‘오월이’를 반디논 습지에 방사했습니다.

흰뺨검둥오리 오월이는 뒤도 안 돌아보고 우유히 논사이로 갔습니다.

물에 잘 적응할수 있을까? 뭍으로 나올수 있을까? 하는 걱정아닌 걱정을 하였습니다.

녹색바람 교육을 마치고 돌아가는 길에 본 오월이는 아주 잘 적응하고 있었습니다.

무사히 잘 자라주기를 바라며…

청소년 동아리 녹색바람 학생들은 장마가 져서 논에 물이 가득 찬 것을 보았고,

농사를 짓기위해 물을 논에 두어야 하는 기간에는 논과 논 사이 논둑을 막고,

물이 많이 차면 물을 조금 빼주고,

물이 필요치 않을 때는 논둑을 터서 물을 빼야 한다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.

장마가 잠시 소강상태여서 그런지 푹푹 찌는 날씨여서

땀이 저절로 흐르는 날입니다.

젠가 게임을 해서 진 사람이 반딧불이 흉내를 내기로 하여

녹색바람 담당선생님과 합의(?)를 본 후

오늘은 조금 일찍 수업을 마쳤습니다.

눈이 온 지난 13일(수)의 일이다. 10명의 참석자들이 아이젠을 차고 산을 오르려고 한다. 일반 산행과는 다르게 하천의 발원지를 찾기 위해 오르는 산이다. 갑천의 발원지를 찾아 떠난 첫 번째 답사다. 대전환경운동연합은 매월 두 번째 수요일 10시부터 3시까지 갑천 종주를 진행하기로 했다. 지난해 유등천 종주를 마친 이후 다시 시작한 갑천 종주에 모두들 설렘이 가득해 보였다.

첫 번째 종주 출발점은 역시 발원지이다. 갑천의 발원지는 대둔산의 수락계곡과 태고사 장군약수터이다. 이번에 발원지 답사는 장군약수터로 정해서 등반을 시작했다. 눈이 내려 태고사 근처까지 차를 가지고 가지 못한 채 주차장에 차를 대 놓고 가파른 산기를 오르기 시작했다.

가파른 산을 오르는 아이들은 늑대와 개 울음소리를 내며 겨울 숲의 정적을 깬다. 사람의 인적도 드문 평일이라 아이들의 메아리가 더 길게 울려 퍼지는 듯 했다. 이런 숲의 정적을 깨는 자연의 소리가 있다. 겨울 철 산을 찾은 새들이 그 주인공이다. 드럼을 치는 듯 한 큰오색딱다구리 소리를 필두로 곤줄박이, 쇠박새, 진박새, 박새, 오목눈이, 동고비, 되새 등등의 온갖 잡새가 우리를 반기듯 길을 안내 해주었다.

 새들의 안내를 받으며 길을 찾아가다 보니 겨울 숲에 많은 이야기들이 담겨져 있다. 지금 씨앗을 퍼트리고 있는 굴피나무가 나무가 있었다. 작은 솔방울 같이 생긴 굴피나무의 씨앗은 너무나 작았지만, 나무는 씨앗에 비해 거목으로 성장해 있었다. 겨울눈을 보호하기 위해 나뭇잎을 끝까지 달고 있는 나무들도 있다고 한다.

 장군약수터에 다다랐을 때쯤 너무나도 멋지게 자란 나무가 우리를 반겨주었다. 나무의 굴곡과 아름드리가 장구약수터의 세월을 말해주는 듯 했다. 세월의 인고를 견뎌내면서 아름다움을 보여준 서어나무에 감사하며 마지막 길을 재촉했다.

 장군약수터는 10년 전 찾았던 모습과는 달라져 있었다. 사람들의 손길로 펜스와 쉴 수 있는 테이블까지……. 사람에 따라 좋게 보일수도 있고 나쁘게 볼 수 있는 모습이었지만, 발원지답게 작은 물방울이 모여 샘을 이루고 있는 모습은 올라온 보람을 느끼기에 충분했다.

장군약수터 푯말에 내용은 이렇다. “장군약수터는 서기 660년 백제가 나당연합군에 의해 멸망하게 되자 허둔장군이 잃어버린 나라를 찾겠다는 결심으로 대둔산에 입산하여 지금의 장군절터에 절을 짓고 은둔하면서, 약수를 마신곳이라하여 장군약수터라 전해오고, 약수터 근원인 상여봉을 멀리서 바라보면 용이 하늘로 구름을 타고 힘차게 승천하는 형상을 볼 수 있고, 상여봉이 용의 머리라면 장군약수터는 용의 입으로 물을 내뿜는다 하여 용수천이라고도 한다. 이 약수를 마시며 100일 기도를 하면 만병통치한다하여 지금도 많은 사람이 찾고 있다“

 전설이 서려있는 장군약수터는 용수천이라는 이름에 걸맞게(?) 용의 모양돌 조각에서 약수가 흐르고 있었지만, 만들어진 용의 형상은 훼손되어 있었다.. 만병통치를 할 수 있는 100일 기도는 할 수 없지만, 약수터에 왔으니 물한바가지 먹는 여유는 답사의 기본이라 할 수 있겠다. 추운 겨울 마시는 시원한 약수는 만병통치가 될 수 없을 듯 했으나, 머리를 맑게 하는데 일조를 했다.

 약수를 떨어지는 지점에는 커다란 얼음이 석순처럼 만들어져 있었는데, 그 안에 푸른색의 이끼가 추운겨울도 녹색의 자태를 뽐내고 있었다. 자연의 생명력을 다시 실감할 수 있는 모습이었다. 작은 이끼를 보고 눈을 돌리자 대둔산 남쪽의 산들이 한눈에 들어 왔다. 첩첩산중이라는 말이 이곳을 보고 하는 말처럼 겹겹이 놓인 산들은 대둔산 장군약수터를 찾아야하는 또 다른 이유를 만들어 주었다.

 장군약수터의 기운을 받아 1년간 진행할 갑천종주에 시하제를 간단하게 올리기도 했다. 막걸리 한잔과 포하나로 지낸 시하제를 마지막으로 감천의 첫 번째 종주인 발원지 답사를 마쳤다. 앞으로 매월 진행될 갑천 종주를 기대할 수 있는 것은 발원지의 영험함 때문일 게다.

바로 풀꿈환경강사모임 입니다
벌써 풀꿈환경강사양성교육을 한지 2년이 되어 새로 강사양성을 실시 할까? 여러 고민끝에 ‘내실을 다지자’라고 의견이 모아졌습니다 그래서 2017년은 풀꿈환경강사로 있으신 분들을 심화교육하고 달마다 정기적 모임도 가지며 역량을 강화하기로 했습니다

1강은 김경중 전 사무처장께서 물환경 전반에 걸친 내용을 간결하면서도 깊이 있게 강의해 주셨습니다

2강은 충북연구원 배명순 박사로부터 충북의 물환경현황에 대해 들었습니다
우리는 평소 물을 쓸때 아껴써야 한다고만 말을 합니다 물이 시작되는 상류에서 누군가 희생(?)을 하며 우리가 쓰는 물로 온다는 생각을 못했는데 콕 집어서 말씀을 해주셔서 듣는 선생님들도 관심을 가지게되었습니다 앞으로 물환경교육을 받을 아이들에게도 알려야 할 내용이었습니다

3강은 박현수 운영위원으로부터 물생태 관련 내용을 들었습니다 특히 무심천에 사는 물고기 관련 내용은 지난해 무심천 전수조사 활동을 통한 내용이어서 현실감 있게 다가왔습니다

마지막 4강은 김윤수 숲치유사로 부터 사람과 사람의 관계에 대한 내용을 들었습니다 교육을 하다보면 수 많은 사람들을 처음 만나게됩니다 그랬을때 어떤식으로 다가가야 하는지, 어떻게 관계를 풀어야하는지를 알수 있는 좋은 시간이었습니다

4강이 끝나고 기념사진 한컷 찍었구요 심화과정은 이렇게 끝나는게 아니라 지금부터 시작입니다
전문 강사로부터 이야기를 들었으니 풀꿈강사들도 이를 기반삼아 자기개발을 위해 더 공부하고 체험을 해야겠지요.
