2018 국가해양환경교육사업으로

인천 섬 아카데미, 해양보호구역 생태탐방체험교육 및 주민과의 대화’ 사업으로\

인천섬 아카데미 교육 5강을 마치고 해양보호구역인 ‘대이작도 생태체험탐방 1차 교육’을

다녀왔습니다.

인천연안여객터미널에서 배를 타고 약 한시간 1시간 10분가량을 달려 도착한 대이작도.

숙소에 도착하자 마자 짐을 내려놓고 대이작도의’부아산’을 등정하면서 배귀재 식물학자에게서 이작도에 서식하고 있는 식물에 대해 강의를 들으며 올라갑니다.

부아산 정상에서 내려다 본 바다는 해무가 살짝 끼어 신비로움을 나타냈습니다.

꽃게로 끊인 맛있는 점심식사를 하고 나서 옹진군에 처음으로 생긴

‘대이작도 생태전시관’을 들려 대이작도를 배경으로 영화를 촬영했던

‘섬마을 선생’을 관람하고 나서 ‘숲길을 따라서’라는 제목으로

배귀재 식물학자의 강의를 들었습니다.

강의가 끝나고 풀등으로 가는 배를 타기 위해 작은풀안 해변으로 이동하여 풀등에 도착~~~

언젠가는 밞을 수 없을지 모르는 모래를 밞기 위해 신발을 벗었으며,

모래위에서 점프도 시도해 보고, 모래사장에 살던 생물도 만나고….

경이로움에 빠져든 풀등 탐사시간이었습니다.

풀등에서 배를 타고 나와서 섬으로 유입되는 해양쓰레기 성상조사 및 정화활동을

하였습니다.

심형진 강사님의 해양쓰레기에 대한 내용을 들으며 심각한 쓰레기 문제에 동감하였습니다.

해수욕장을 개장해서 그런지 쓰레기 양은 많지 않았지만, 스치로풀 쓰레기가 큰 문제였습니다. 잘게 쪼개지면 미세플라스틱의 일부가 되는 쓰레기들….

적은 양이지만 성상조사를 실시하였고, 정화작업을 하여 분리수거함에 넣었습니다.

숙소로 돌아가는 길에 ‘삼신할미약수터’와 ‘이작도 보호수’ 소나무를 보았으며,

섬 사람들의 생활에 대해 생각하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

다음날을 계남리로 가서 ‘섬마을 선생’ 촬영지인 계남분교를 돌아보았습니다.

일정을 마치고 인천으로 돌아오면서 푹푹찌는 폭염속으로 들어 갈 것에

걱정이 되었지만, 해양보호구역 이작도 탐방을 재밌고, 기억에 남게 하는

생태체험탐방교육이었습니다.

해양보호구역 생태탐방체험교육에 신청한 22명의 회원, 시민과 함께 알차고 즐거운

생태탐방체험교육을 진행하였습니다.

생태탐방체험교육을 진행한 날은 대이작도에서 ‘섬마을 밴드’공연이 저녁때 진행되었으며

함께 참여하여 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

부아산 탐방, 인천섬 아카데미 보강교육. 해양쓰레기 성상조사 및 정화활동, 대이작도 풀등 탐방, 대이작도 생태관 탐방등

다양한 프로그램으로 진행된 해양보호구역 생태탐방체험교육이었습니다.

다음달 9월 1일에 해양보호구역 생태탐방체험교육 3, 4차가 진행됩니다.
